Iran film ‘Appendix’ to go on silver screen at Shanghai filmfest

Iran film ‘Appendix’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 21st edition of Shanghai International Film Festival in China.

Iranian flick ‘Appendix’ directed by Hossein Namazi is to attend Chinese film event.

Due to severe abdominal pain, Zari and her husband, Reza, go to the hospital. However, Zari’s insurance ID has expired and they are forced to borrow her friend Leila Attarod’s ID.

Eventually, she undergoes appendectomy using Leila’s ID and the staff at the hospital suspect about this matter. Due to this, they are forced to switch roles to convenience hospital staff that the ID belongs to Zari. However, many unfortunate events take place in the process…

The Shanghai International Film Festival  is one of the largest film festivals in East Asia. Since its beginning, Shanghai International Film Festival has grown to become an A-category international film event.

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for June 16-25, Shanghai, China.
